New Bedford restaurant shut down after salmonella outbreak

The Massachusetts health department has shut down a New Bedford restaurant after a salmonella outbreak.

According to the Health Department, several people got sick at the Churrascaria Aveirense Restaurant on Sawyer Street.

The restaurant cannot reopen until all employees test negative for the bacteria and pass a food safety inspection.
