Warwick man facing DUI charges in fatal West Warwick crash

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – A Warwick man was arrested Thursday in connection with a DUI crash that killed an 80-year-old woman in May.

West Warwick Police arrested 27-year-old Keith Jensen Thursday on charges related to a head-on crash on Providence Street in West Warwick May 25.

Six people were reported injured in the crash, including two juveniles. Ferial Alrefai, 80, of Warwick, was killed in the crash.

Jensen was arraigned Thursday morning on the following charges:

  • Driving Under the Influence-Death Resulting
  • Driving to Endanger, Resulting in Death

Bail was set at $10,000 with surety, and a felony screening date was scheduled for October.

Jensen will also be presented as a Superior Court violator Thursday afternoon.
