Rhode Island State Police charge man that led troopers on tri-state pursuit

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police said Tuesday they charged a man that led troopers on a tri-state pursuit last week.
Ian Grant, 36, is now being charged in Rhode Island with possession of a firearm by certain persons prohibited, felony assault and/or battery, felony assault by use of devices similar to a firearm, eluding, and reckless driving — second offense.
Grant faced a judge in New London Superior Court in Connecticut last week and did not enter a plea.
He will be facing charges in Massachusetts as well. In the meantime, he is being held in Connecticut.
