Illinois man arrested after leading troopers on Massachusetts Turnpike chase

Massachusetts State Police said Wednesday an Illinois man was arrested after leading them on a chase that closed part of the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Police said 48-year-old Kevin Oldaker led troopers on a pursuit just before 7:30 a.m. that ended in Stockbridge.

That portion of the highway was closed while troopers and negotiators worked to get Oldaker out of the car. He was arrested shortly after.

Oldaker was wanted on warrants out of Maine and Illinois for violent stalking and sexual assault.
