Driver taken to hospital after trailer truck rollover on Interstate 295 in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The driver of a trailer truck was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a rollover on the Interstate 295 ramp in Attleboro.

Massachusetts State Police responded at about 9:30 a.m. to the overturned truck on the ramp from I-295 to I-95 north.

First responders worked to help the driver that was pinned under the front of the truck, said police. That driver was identified as a 56-year-old man from Lincoln, Rhode Island.

He was taken to the Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threating injuries.

ABC 6 News crews on scene witnessed a large crane being used to lift the truck.

The crash did cause traffic delays.
