REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Rehoboth police said Thursday they arrested a Fall River man accused of driving drunk.

Police said they saw a black Jeep Cherokee just before 3:30 p.m. on Winthrop Street being driven erratically.

The Jeep then made a right turn onto Blanding Road and almost hit a curb, police said.

When officers stopped the vehicle, Jordan Correia, 34, showed signs of intoxication “due to the consumption of alcohol.”

Correia was taken into custody and transported to the police station where he was booked. He was later released on personal recognizance.

The 34-year-old will face a Taunton District Court judge on Friday.

Correia was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor — 2nd offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.
