Suspect arrested after Eddy St. stabbing, Providence police say

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police said they arrested a suspect after a “serious stabbing” Sunday night.

The stabbing happened at about 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Eddy Street and Thurbers Avenue.

One person was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be OK, police said.

No further information was immediately released.
