Gas prices in Rhode Island up nine cents
PROVIDENCE R.I. (WLNE)- The gas prices across the Ocean State went up by an average of nine cents over the last week, according to AAA.
This week’s average price is $4.18 per gallon, which is four cents higher than it was a month ago.
Gas prices have gone up $1.35 over the past year.
“As long as the supply remains tight, it will be hard for crude oil prices to fall and consumers will in turn face higher prices at the pump,” said Lloyd Albert, Senior Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Northeast.
