Woonsocket crash kills 58-year-old woman, sends 2 others to hospital with life-threatening injuries

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Woonsocket police said that a person died and two others were seriously hurt in a crash Tuesday.

Police said that a 58-year-old woman died at the hospital from injuries she sustained in the crash. Her name wasn’t immediately released.

The two-car crash happened at about 12 p.m. on Harris Avenue at Kindergarten Street.

Capt. John  Picard told ABC 6 News a car was traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred.
