ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — An eyesore in downtown Attleboro is coming down.
Demolition started Wednesday morning on the Old Briggs Hotel. The South Main Street building is being knocked down after falling into disrepair.
There’s a detour in place while the work is being done.
The Sun Chronicle reports that the developers plan to turn the space into a five-story, 46-unit apartment building.
