Lincoln police identify victim in Tuesday’s fatal crash

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — Lincoln police have identified the victim in Tuesday’s fatal crash on Twin River Road.

Police said that 65-year-old Donald Alves died after crashing into the woods.

Alves, who’s from Cumberland, hit two other cars at about 8 a.m. before driving off of the road and into the woods.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the crash.
