Driver injured after crashing into trees in North Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — North Kingstown police said Thursday that a driver was injured after crashing into trees.

The crash happened Wednesday night on Post Road.

Capt. John Urban Jr. told ABC 6 News that a car went off the road, down an embankment, and struck into trees.

The driver, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Urban said the driver isn’t facing any criminal charges.
