Newport man wins big, plans to pay for honeymoon
NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE)- A Newport man won big playing “Rhode Island Super Loteria” earlier this week, according to the Rhode Island Lottery.
The man bought his $40,000 winning ticket at the Cumberland Farms on East Main Road in Portsmouth.
He said that he plans to use his winnings to pay for a honeymoon with his wife. The two got married during the pandemic, and still haven’t gone anywhere.
