Police arrest 6th suspect in Federal Hill murder investigation

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence Police have arrested a sixth suspect in the investigation into a fatal stabbing and beating outside a Federal Hill nightclub in June.

Antonio Fortes, 29, was arrested in Cranston Wednesday morning in connection with the murder of Stephen Cabral Andrade outside Club Seven on Spruce Street June 30.

He will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Providence District Court.

Fortes was previously indicted in connection with the murder of Terry Robinson in October of 2014. He was acquitted of the charges.

Providence Police said they currently have warrants out for two more suspects.

The Providence Board of Licenses is set to continue their discussion on the fate of Club Seven Wednesday afternoon. The club remains temporarily closed.
