Man arrested in connection to deadly assault in Killingly

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WLNE) — Connecticut State Police arrested on Tuesday a man in connection to a deadly assault in Killingly.

State police said that 43-year-old Alexander Neidhart IV was arrested and charged with first-degree-assault. He is being held on $500,000 bail and is set to be arraigned.

Troopers responded to Whetstone Mill complex for a wellness check at about 10 p.m. There, they found a man who had suffered life-threatening injuries inside of a condominium there. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
