Cumberland elects new mayor

William Murray is the new Mayor of Cumberland overcoming his Democratic opponents Daniel Alves and Manuel Dacosta with 49% of the vote.
Dacosta grabbed 38% of the vote and Alves got 13.2%. There is no Republican candidate running in the general election.
The seat was left vacant when sitting Mayor Dan McKee announced his run for Lt. Governor.
