Scattered showers Friday then very nice for the weekend

Scattered showers develop this morning, but will taper off for the early afternoon. Clouds will give way to breaks of sunshine this afternoon with a lingering shower around. However, most roads will have an opportunity to dry. Look for Highs to reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees with a light NE breeze.
Clouds will prevail overnight with lows again in the mid 50s. Those clouds will clear away tomorrow morning and the weekend looks very pleasant.
Sunshine will mix with a few clouds Saturday, although a weak upper-level trough can trigger an isolated shower Saturday afternoon, but it would be brief and strictly a very hit-or-miss event with the greatest risk occurring further north. High pressure is in control by Sunday and remains that way into Monday. Looks for highs throughout the weekend to be in the mid 70s and lasting into Monday as well.
A “cold front” and rain showers approach Tuesday evening and Wednesday, but a washout is not expected. Readings will remain seasonable in the 70s.
