Fall River man arrested in drug bust, police say

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Police said a Fall River man was arrested Thursday in a drug bust.

According to police, Brent Couturier, 30, was arrested after the Major Crimes Division, Special Operations Division, and the Metro Boston Gang task Force searched his Huard Street home.

In total 17 grams of Fentanyl, 23 grams of crack cocaine, assorted pills, and suboxone strips were seized as a result of the search warrant. Nearly $74,000 in cash was also found, police said.

Couturier was charged with multiple drug trafficking, possession offenses, and having an “electric weapon.”
