Residents displaced from condominium complex after fire in Plainville

PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — Residents were displaced from a condominium complex in Plainville after a fire broke out early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called just before midnight to a 10-unit complex on Messenger Street.
Fire Chief Richard Ball said a mulch fire spread through two-units of that building.
ABC 6 News crews at the scene witnessed extensive smoke damage to the front.
Residents made it out safely, but one person was taken to the hospital for stress-related injuries.
All residents in the 10-unit complex were displaced because of electrical damages, Ball said.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately released.
