Man turns in stolen smartphone to New Bedford police

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Dartmouth police said a man who had been suspected of stealing a smartphone turned himself into police on Sunday.

The department shared a post on Facebook at about 9 a.m. asking the public for help to identify the man.

Police posted an update just after noon saying that the suspect had turned the stolen phone in to police in New Bedford.
