Coventry Walmart evacuated for bomb threat

The Coventry Police Department responded to the Super Walmart at
650 Centre of New England Blvd in
Police say a male subject called the store and said that there were explosives in the building.
The employee that answered the call notified management, who then had the store evacuated.
Police arrived and set up a perimeter, contacting Rhode Island State Police for the help of bomb sniffing dogs.
The store was cleared and no explosives were found.
The Walmart is now reopened and deemed safe.
