PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Attorney General Peter Neronha said Tuesday that a Pawtucket man was found guilty of molesting a girl in 2019.

A jury found  57-year-old Johnnie Doe guilty of four counts of second-degree child molestation against a victim under the age of 14.

The attorney general’s office said Doe sexually assaulted a girl who was known to him at a home in Pawtucket. The girl reported the incident to Pawtucket police and they were able to match DNA from her clothing to the suspects.

The 57-year-old is being held without bail, and scheduled to be sentenced in August. He is also facing additional sexual assault charges in a separate case, said the district attorney’s office.
