Patriots to bring back red throwback alternate uniforms this season

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — The New England Patriots are turning back the clock with their appearance on the gridiron this fall.

The Pats announced Wednesday that they are bringing back  their red throwback alternate uniforms for select games of the upcoming NFL season.

The uniform features a red jersey, with white and blue shoulder stripes, white pants with red and blue stripes, topped off with a white helmet with the vintage Patriots logo.

The Patriots regular season begins Sept. 11 against the Miami Dolphins.
