PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) -Rhode Island State Police are currently clearing the scene of an accident that occurred on Route 6 at Route 10 south.

The accident caused heavy traffic in the area and there is no indication to what caused it at this time.

No injuries have been reported at this time
