New England Patriots Foundation awards $20K grant to Providence Community Health Centers

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The New England Patriots Foundation has partnered with the American Cancer Society to award a $20,000 grant to Providence Community Health Centers.

The grant will be used to increase breast cancer screenings at the medical center, which serves more than 60,000 residents of Providence and its surrounding areas.

Patriots Hall of Famer Andre Tippett presented the donation on behalf of the NFL and the New England Patriots Foundation.

Other speakers included President of PCHC Merrill Thomas and American Cancer Society Vice President Louise Santosuosso.
