Driver hits parked car in Providence, takes off

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A driver crashed into a parked car in Providence and then took off Tuesday morning.

Providence police said that the crash happened at about 1 a.m. on Chalkstone Avenue.

Officers on scene told ABC6 News that the car that was damaged had no one inside at the time of the crash.

Investigators said that the driver of the other car hit the parked car and then took off.
