2 teens killed in Foster crash

FOSTER, R.I. (WLNE) — Two teenagers were killed in a Foster crash Thursday morning, according to authorities.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. on Salisbury Road.

A total of four teens were in the car at the time of the crash.

The two teens were students at Ponaganset High School.

“Sadly, our Ponaganset community is mourning the loss of two students who passed away last night from a car accident. Our sympathy goes out to the families affected by this loss. We are here to support those who are impacted by this incident and school counselors, school psychologists, and school social workers will be available to speak with students about this tragedy starting tomorrow,” Superintendent Dr. Renee Palazzo said in a statement.
