10 baby ducklings reunited with mother after rescue in Newport

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — A group of baby ducklings were reunited with their mother in Newport earlier this week.

In a Facebook post Wednesday, the city of Newport wrote that the 10 ducklings were rescued Tuesday after falling into a catch basin.

“We’re happy to report that after a bit of work, the mother and babies were able to happily and safely go on their way,” said the city.
