Fall River man sentenced to serve up to 20 years in prison after raping teen three times in one night

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn said Thursday that a Fall River man was sentenced to serve up to 20 years in prison after raping a teenage girl three times in one night.
The district attorney’s office said that 37-year-old Arnold Thompson plead guilty to indictments charging him with rape of a child with force and rape of a child by a previously convicted offender.
The 14-year-old victim was at her friend’s apartment on Dec. 13, 2020 when Thompson, who lived in the same building, came over. In the middle of the night, he woke the teenage girl up and raped her three times.
Thompson was sentenced to serve 15 to 20 years in prison, with an additional 10 after he is released.
