BOSTON (WLNE) — Police said a man wanted for a deadly Philadelphia shooting was found in Massachusetts late Thursday night.

Boston police said Wagner Ernesto Tejada-Pena was wanted on a warrant for murder, after he allegedly shot and killed a person last month. Shortly after, he tried to shoot at two other people, but his gun malfunctioned, according to police.

He was also wanted in connection with two stabbing incidents in Boston.

Police said Tejada was found just before 11:30 p.m. in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

In a Facebook post Thursday, police said he may be in the Roslindale, Lawrence or the Rhode Island area. They also said in part, “Tejada is to be considered armed and dangerous.”

He was arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on Friday. Tejada is being charged for assault and battery with a deadly weapon for an incident in Philadelphia back in February.
