Aaron Hernandez indicted on assault charges

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on charges stemming from an alleged assault on another inmate on February 25^th.

A Bristol County Grand Jury came back with the indictment this afternoon according to the D.A.’s Office.

Hernandez is also alleged to have made a threat inside the Bristol County House of Corrections in Dartmouth where he is being held on November 1, 2013.

His arraignment on these new charges has yet to be set.

Hernandez is in jail on charges that he allegedly murdered Odin Lloyd last June.
