Rain Arrives in Sothern New England

The much-needed rain is here! With the approach of a cold front, we will have a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms starting tonight and lasting through Monday. We could see about half an inch of rainfall in this time. As a result, poor drainage flooding is possible. Another stronger front will come through Monday night through Tuesday with occasional very heavy showers.  This round will bring the chance of up to an inch of additional rainfall making urban/ street flooding and poor drainage flooding likely. Clearing is scheduled for midweek and some really nice weather days follow into next weekend.
