ESPN: Celtics’ Udoka used ‘crude’ language with female staffer
BOSTON (WLNE) — ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting suspended Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka used crude language with a female staffer prior to starting a relationship with the woman.
Wojnarowski said sources told ESPN that an independent investigation showed Udoka used the ‘concerning’ language with the staffer prior to engaging in a relationship.
Udoka was suspended last week for the entire season after ESPN and several other outlets reported Udoka had a relationship with a female staffer.
The Celtics said Udoka was suspended for multiple violations of team policies.
Johnston native Joe Mazzulla has been tabbed as the Celtics’ interim head coach.
