Boston bombing suspect widow in court for speeding

Motor vehicle charges against the widow of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev have been dismissed.

Katherine Russell was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license, speeding and driving an unregistered motor vehicle in Franklin in August. On court documents her name was spelled as Katherine Tsarnaeva.

Her case was dismissed Thursday morning after she appeared in Wrentham District Court and paid $150 in court costs.

Her husband, Tamerlan Tsarnaev died following a shootout with police four days after the April 15 bombing. Her brother-in-law Dzhokhar is facing federal charges as a result of the Boston Marathon Bombings.
