Another Hernandez associate indicted as accessory

Carlos Ortiz has been indicted in connection with the murder of Odin Lloyd.
Ortiz, 27, of Bristol CT was indicted by the grand jury on one count of Accessory to Murder- After the Fact, District Attorney Sam Sutter announced today. He had previously pleaded not guilty to a related gun charge.
This means the criminal case against Ortiz will start anew and move forward in Fall River Superior Court. A
Superior Court arraignment date is still being set.
Ortiz will not appear in Attleboro District Court Friday for his scheduled pretrial hearing.
