Pawtucket stabbing sends two to hospital

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Two people are rushed to the hospital after a stabbing in Pawtucket Thursday night.

Police responded to a Sterry Street home around 10:30 p.m. where they found two victims suffering from stab wounds.

Upon further investigation inside the house they found the suspect and arrested him.

The suspect has been identified as 54-year-old Daniel Greene. He was taken to the hospital following the incident for unrelated issues. 

He is expected to be arraigned after being charged with 2 counts of Domestic Assault With a Deadly Weapon Inside a Dwelling House and 2 counts of Domestic Assault With Intent to Commit a Felony. 

Both victims are in stable condition at this time.
