Three injured in Exeter crash

EXETER, R.I. (WLNE) – Three people were taken to the hospital following a crash in Exeter Thursday afternoon.
RI State Police said a transport van was traveling on Ten Rod Road in Exeter when it was struck by an SUV around 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
The transport van was carrying two women with special needs at the time of the crash. The passengers, along with the driver of the van, were taken to Kent Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Nobody in the SUV was injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
