Man in court for Woonsocket murder

A man has been arrested for the murder of a 57-year-old Woonsocket woman in her apartment.

43-year-old Brian Audette of Warwick was arrested on Wednesday for the murder of Donna Pike.

On Sunday at approximately 7:30 p.m. Pike was discovered dead by police in her apartment on Rathburn Street. Officials tell ABC6 that Pike died from blunt force trauma but it was unclear if a weapon was used.

Audette will be arraigned on charges of first degree murder on Thursday.
