Truck crashes into New Bedford home following collision

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) – Police are investigating after a pickup truck crashed into a New Bedford home Tuesday afternoon.

Video of the incident showed a car attempting to pass the pickup truck on Ashley Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The vehicles collided sending the truck crashing directly into a Maryland Street home.

According to New Bedford Fire Department no injuries were reported.

The truck caused extensive damage to the home, which doubles as a beauty parlor.

Police have not yet announced if charges will be filed.
