JOHNSTON, R.I (WLNE)- After a minor delay, Wicked Tulip farm in Johnston is looking to open in the first week of May.
The flowers at the popular spring-time spot took a little longer to grow this year because of the cold weather experienced in March and early April.
Depending on weather conditions, the tulips time in bloom will vary. Hotter weather will cause the flowers to bloom much faster, and bloom out, while moderate, cool weather will allow a longer season.
Owners say they will be happy with “two solid weeks”.
