First funeral services being held for Connecticut shooting victims

The first funerals from Friday's mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School are set for Today. This, as the president, offers the “love and prayers of a nation” to the grieving community of Newtown, Connecticut.
“These tragedies must end. To end them we must change, and in the coming weeks, I will use the powers of this office to prevent more shootings,” said the President.
The president spoke at a vigil, following his private meetings with the families and first responders. Twenty children and six adults were killed in the shooting.
Services for 6-year-olds Noah Pozner and Jack Pinto are being planned for Today. Noah's twin sister, Arielle, was in a different classroom at Sandy Hook Elementary. She survived the shooting. More services are planned throughout the rest of the week.
