A pickup trucks runs into a multi-family Lincoln home

LINCOLN, R.I (WLNE) – Police are currently investigating an accident that ended in a pickup truck running into a multi-family home on Sunday, sending multiple people to the hospital. 

According to the police, the pickup truck rear ended a mini-van at the intersection of Lonsdale and Front Street, then hit the multi-family home.

The police say the driver of the pickup, identified as a 31-year-old man from Cumberland, was found unconscious, with his 4-year-old daughter in the truck. 

Inside the minivan, was a 57-year-old woman and her 2 children.

All of those involved were sent to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

According to the building inspector, the house is unsafe at this time.
