Black Bear spotted in Cranston neighborhood

       It's  the talk of Rhode Island, a black bear has been seen in  half dozen neighborhoods in Cranston.  The bear was caught on camera by DEM in a parking lot on  Pontiac avenue. This is the same bear that was seen on Greenwood street  by Elizabeth Roy and her neighbor , Elizabeth Materos Monday night. Materos says, the bear was only a hundred yards away from her. Elizabeth Roy says, she jumped in her truck and chased the bear for three blocks!

     The  DEM says the bear was last seen heading west toward Garden city in Cranston, and is not exhibiting any aggressive behavior.If you spot the bear, they're saying  to please call them. They're  asking if you have any photos or videos of the bear, they would like to see them. They say, the photos will help them, monitor the bears activities.
