Police arrest Coventry Man in drug raid

COVENTRY, R.I (WLNE) – Coventry police arrest a man involved in a drug raid on Wednesday.
According to Coventry police, preceding the arrest, detectives received complaints of the drug distribution in the area of 618 Main Street.
A court authorized search warrant was executed and 6:50 p.m and detectives found 108 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials, multiple cell phones, and several hundred dollars in cash.
Police say a 2015 Jeep Wrangler allegedly used to conduct drug transaction was also seized.
The suspect, 25-year-old Keven Alsina of Coventry, was arraigned in Kent County District court where he was later presented as a Superior Court Bail Violator on a January 2019 drug possession charge, and was ordered to be without bail at the ACI on the current charges.
