Warwick City Park murder suspect indicted

WARWICK, R.I (WLNE) – The Pawtucket man connected to the Warwick City Park murder in 2013 was indicted today by a grand jury.

Michael Soares, 33, was arrested back in February this year, for the murder of 66-year-old John “Jack” Fay.

The Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Soares with one count of murder today.

The murder happened in the Warwick City Park on May 17, 2013.

Warwick police conducted the investigation.

Soares is being held without bail at the ACI and is scheduled to be arraigned on April 11 in Kent County Superior Court.
