Pawtucket man arrested for an armed robbery of a hair salon

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – A Pawtucket man turned himself in to authorities on Friday around 3:00 p.m and was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant. 

The arrest warrant was stemming from an armed robbery that occurred on 03/12/19 at the oMa Hair Design on 251 Cottage street. 

31-year-old, Dustin French was transported to the Pawtucket Police Station for processing. 

According to police, French is being charged with four counts of 1st Degree Robbery and one count of Larceny Under/1500. Additional charges may be forthcoming. 

French appeared before a bail commissioner on 03/16/19 and was held without bail. French will appear in Providence District Court on Monday for formal arraignment, presented as a probation violator.
