Man dies after skiing accident at Massachusetts ski resort

WESTMINSTER, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said Monday that a man died after a skiing accident at ski resort in Princeton.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. at Wachusett Mountain.

Police said the man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was found unresponsive by another skier who was passing by.

The man was brought to the bottom of the mountain by the ski patrols and was determined to be dead, said police.

The ABC affiliate in Boston reports that the man crashed into a tree on Oxbow Chute, a trail for advanced skiers.

No further information was made available.
