Serious crash on Route 44 in Seekonk sends woman to hospital

SEEKONK, M.A. (WLNE) – A serious crash on Rt.44 sends one woman to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Friday evening.

The woman’s car rolled over after striking a gas truck and also hit a mailbox.

The woman was then took to Rhode Island hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Part of Taunton Avenue was closed off between Lincoln Street and Blanding Road in Rehoboth.

The scene is now cleared.
