Police investigating a stabbing in Taunton

TAUNTON, MASS (WLNE) – Taunton police are currently investigating a stabbing that occurred Saturday morning. 

At 6:00 am, an officer was on patrol on Broadway street when they noticed a disturbance in the roadway between two people. 

According to the police, after further investigation, the officer noticed that one person had been stabbed, and the other suffered injuries. 

Both parties were transported to area hospitals and the incident remains under investigation.
