Police: Suspect spent thousands with stolen credit cards

WARWICK, R.I (WLNE) – Warwick police are looking for a man who allegedly was shopping with stolen credit cards. 

According to Warwick police, on February 7th at around 5:00 p.m., three victims had their lockers broken into at the Planet fitness on Bald Hill road. 

Their wallets and credit cards were taken and were used at local stores. 

 “A victim’s card was used to purchase an Apple laptop valued at $2,995 at Best Buy in Warwick,” said Warwick Police in a Facebook post. 

The department also said there were two separate transactions totaling $818.53 conducted at CVS and Dollar Tree locations in West Warwick.

Security footage from all three location captured the same suspect. 

Police said the suspect is between 6’3 and 6’6″, last seen wearing a gray Nike sweat suit. 

According to Police, the suspect was seen entering the passenger side of a white or silver Chevy Tahoe type SUV with possible New York registration.
